PayRange Inc., which upgrades coin-operated machines to accept mobile payments through its ‘BluKey’ technology, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against laundry machine operator CSC ServiceWorks on Wednesday in Delaware District Court. The suit, brought by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, alleges that CSC faked interest in developing a partnership with PayRange, then cut off communications and used PayRange’s IP to develop its own competing systems ‘CSC Go’ and ‘CSCPay Mobile.’ Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:23-cv-00278, PayRange Inc. v. CSC ServiceWorks Inc.
