Vice Chancellor Morgan Zurn has appointed a special master to handle the unusually large amount of input from shareholders that’s begun rolling in on the Court of Chancery case challenging AMC Entertainment Holdings’ proposed reverse stock split.

While Zurn said at a Tuesday hearing that she’d be willing to schedule a settlement hearing date at the end of June, that could be pushed back depending on how many shareholders write to the court. She appointed Prickett, Jones & Elliott director Corinne Amato to address those letters, at least 75 of which have already been entered into the record.
