In a rare case of Delaware lifting the curtain on allegations of judicial misconduct, Kent County Family Court Judge Louann Vari has been publicly censured by the court on the Judiciary for failing to resolve cases in a timely manner from 2020 through 2022.

It’s the first time in a decade any Delaware judge has had misconduct made public by the judiciary and is part of the small fraction of the state’s judicial complaints that aren’t dismissed.
