Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick consolidated two Tesla shareholder cases and coordinated a third on Nov. 18, a middle ground between the consolidation of all requested by two plaintiffs and the complete separation advocated for by other plaintiffs and Tesla.

Moving forward, the cases in which a Rhode Island retirement fund and a Cleveland pension plan separately challenged Elon Musk’s investments in AI projects will be proceeding as one, while a third case brought by shareholder Michael Perry will move toward a separate trial while allowing counsel to coordinate discovery with the consolidated action.
