The founder of a pharmaceutical company filed a lawsuit in the Court of Chancery on Nov. 20, claiming the company owes him more than $875,000 for legal fees and other expenses tallied during an SEC investigation.

In an advancement suit against New Jersey-based Eagle Pharmaceuticals Inc., founder and former CEO and president Scott Tarriff alleges he's spent a year attempting to recoup money he's owed. He's represented by Ropes & Gray and Christensen Law.
