The Delaware judge presiding over the Tribune Co. bankruptcy stated his intention during a hearing last week to allow certain creditors to pursue fraudulent conveyance claims in state court.

Chief Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware said during a March 22 hearing that he was willing to sign an order granting a motion to allow the claims to proceed. They are expected to be brought by a group of unsecured noteholders managed by Aurelius Capital Management, an asset management and financial advisory firm that deals in structured credit products.
