Chancellor William B. Chandler III will leave behind an impressive legacy when he retires from the bench of Delaware’s Chancery Court in June.
Since the announcement came Monday of his plans to step down, Delaware’s legal community has praised Chandler as an intelligent, fair-minded jurist during his 22-year career on the Chancery Court. He has served as the court’s chancellor since 1997.
