Plaintiffs who opposed a $13.25 million settlement in a class action lawsuit filed by investors against fund managers are planning to accept Delaware Court of Chancery Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster’s offer to post a bond for the full settlement amount and pursue their own litigation, according to their attorney.
"We are exploring our options to raise money and proceed with the case," said Stephen G. Mintz, an attorney with Mintz & Gold, a New York firm representing the objectors, in an interview withDelaware Business Court Insider . "The vice chancellor came up with a plan that is fair and I give him credit for that because he is looking to protect everyone’s interests."
