Several of the Delaware law firms focused on corporate law made some big moves in 2014. The year also welcomed some new players into the arena with one firm entering Delaware and another, established firm launching a Chancery Court practice.

Sidley Austin

Sidley Austin made arguably the biggest splash by adding retired Delaware Supreme Court Justice Jack B. Jacobs. Although the firm will lease office space and hire support staff for the former justice, Tom Cole, chair of Sidley Austin’s executive committee, said the firm has no plans to open a Wilmington office.
