The Delaware Senate is set to convene in a special session Oct. 28 for hearings and a confirmation vote on Gov. Jack Markell’s pick to fill an opening for vice chancellor on the Court of Chancery.
The Senate has already been notified of the special session date, and the body was set to receive a formal proclamation from Markell on Wednesday, according to Meredith Stewart Tweedie, chief legal counsel to the governor.
