A former Goldman Sachs executive has sued in the Delaware Court of Chancery to recover legal fees from his former employer in connection with an ongoing government probe into confidential central bank data that was stolen and circulated among bank employees two years ago.
Joseph A. Jiampietro, a former managing director with Goldman, filed his complaint last week, alleging that the bank never responded to his demands that it cover his fees and expenses for defending against multiple investigations into the incident.
