Pay has risen sharply for trial court judges in New York over the past decade, while the D.C. judges have made the most on average for years. But Delaware was one of only a handful of states that ranked in the top 10 nationally this year for trial court judges' pay both before and after cost-of-living adjustments. Meanwhile, Delaware is also among the top dozen states in terms of salary for those serving on its highest court.
