Pro Bono Bonanza

During the economic boom of the late 1990s, lawyers at technology-focused San Francisco Bay Area firms such as Wilson Sonsini, Brobeck and Cooley Godward were too busy to do much pro bono work. Now that the economy has cooled and corporate lawyers have more time on their hands, they're looking for opportunities to do more projects. The problem is finding pro bono work, long the purview of litigators, for corporate lawyers.
