With more than 18 years of professional experience, Dr. Terouhid has proven expertise as a construction subject matter expert in the areas of construction management, project management, construction claims, forensic schedule analysis, construction injury, construction fraud, construction defects, and delay and damages analysis. With extensive experience working on several large and mega projects internationally and throughout the United States, Dr. Terouhid is a recognized expert and has served as an expert in more than 100 construction claims cases as well as other cases such as safety and slip and fall matters.
Dr. Terouhid holds a Ph.D. in construction management, and master’s degrees in civil engineering as well as industrial engineering. He has been examined and certified in the States of New York, New Jersey, and Texas as a Professional Engineer (P. E.), by Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and by American Concrete Institute (ACI) as a Concrete Special Inspector. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles and industry guidelines including four AACE International Recommended Practices. He is also the recipient of the 2018 AACE. International Technical Excellence Award.
Served numerous times (in more than 100 cases) in the capacity of a consulting expert. Currently (as of September 2022) involved in one international arbitration case for a multimillion-dollar claim in the court of London and three other cases, including a construction delay and loss of productivity claim for a megaproject in New York, a construction injury case in Long Island, NY, and a slip and fall case in the State of New Jersey.
