Andrew R. Yarmus, P.E., F.NSPE is a licensed Professional Engineer, a New York State Certified Code Enforcement Official, a Fellow of the National Society of Professional Engineers, and is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers and as the Director, Membership-At-Large of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Yarmus has worked in various engineering and construction capacities since 1987. Mr. Yarmus is also a Past Chair, and current Director, of the Professional Engineers in Construction for the National Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Yarmus also holds an OSHA safety certification, is a Registered Professional Industrial Hygienist, a licensed Asbestos Inspector and Project Designer, a Certified Environmental Inspector, and a Certified Planner. His experience includes work in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, and he has undertaken assignments and testified on behalf of both plaintiff and defense. His specialties include, but are not limited to, civil/structural/environmental engineering, building codes, accidents related to construction methods and standards, slip and fall incidents, burn and scald injuries, environmental engineering including lead and asbestos issues, building inspections, labor law, industrial code rule 23, OSHA, and more. Mr. Yarmus is qualified to testify in municipal, state, and federal courts.
