As an expert witness, Mr. Formisano has been qualified by the courts, and retained by both plaintiffs and defendants for lawsuits involving weld manufacturing defects and product liability, personal injury and property damage as the result of weld failures and welding safety. He provides consulting and technical assistance to Fortune 500 companies, State Universities, construction management firms and independent contractors. These services include weld procedures and specifications for product development, weld failure analysis, weld engineering, nondestructive and destructive testing and inspection of welds, welder qualification, weld QA/QC, and metallurgical analytical services. Degrees in Welding Technology, Mathematics & Science; two lifetime college level teaching credentials in the field of welding. Career experience includes positions with a United States Department of Energy Nuclear Weapons Facility, and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Laboratory; these positions required a high level security "Q" clearance.
