Charles M. Curley

Trained in both mechanical and electrical engineering, this electromechanical expert has over 40 years of experience in the development of industrial and consumer products, including vending machines, printers, facsimiles, keyboards, electronic massage devices, card shuffling machines and specialized test instruments. He is the founder of a consulting firm specializing in engineering product and machine design, and holds 27 U.S. patents in in the field of electromechanical products. He is an experienced expert in CAD solid modeling and has extensive experience in writing and developing microcontroller firmware. Mr. Curley is currently President of Impact-Echo Instruments, a company who designs and manufactures specialized acoustic instruments (www.impact-echo.com).

He is also an experienced expert witness, having testified in 40+ patent and product defect cases including 30+ depositions and 5 trials. His laboratory facilities include a high-powered video microscope station which he utilizes for microphotography, and industrial quality 3D printers which he utilizes for creating litigation models. Amongst the clients he has represented are Canon, NCR, Coca Cola, Hewlett Packard, Brother International, Avery Dennison, JCM America, MARS Electronics, Kodak, Ricoh, Royal Vendors, Bixolon, Shuffle Tech, Sanford/Dymo and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
