Dave is a licensed mechanical engineer and certified fire and explosion investigator with experience in the design, testing, maintenance and service of gas and oil fired equipment and systems. He has worked as a commissioning engineer for new construction of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems, as a product development engineer and a field service engineer for gas and oil fired boilers and water heaters, as a maintenance supervisor for a large food processing plant and as a marine engineer.

Failure analysis on a wide range of products including boilers, burners, furnaces, hydronic and steam heating systems, water heaters, wall heaters, ranges, ovens, construction heaters, barbeque grills, gas fireplaces, turkey fryers, deep fat fryers, steamers, Aerosol cans, refrigerators, pressure washers, clothes dryers, food trucks, RV’s, pumps, PVC and PEX piping, plumbing fittings, gas cylinders, gas regulators, appliances, oil burners and oil tanks.
