David W. Silver MD FACEP, Silver Emergency Experts LLC

Dr. David Silver is a nationally respected expert in the field of Emergency Medicine with over 13 years of experience. He obtained his MD at the University of Chicago in 2007 and completed residency at the University of Cincinnati, widely renown as one of the finest programs in the country. He provides expert witness services to both plaintiff and defense firms and delivers unbiased informed opinions and testimony in medical malpractice cases. He has an uncanny ability to break down medical jargon into easily digestible concepts for juries and law firms.

Dr. Silver is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has experience in diverse emergency settings including trauma centers, urban and rural hospital and urgent cares. This gives him an unparalleled understanding of the challenges and standards of care within the field. He is currently the Director of Quality for his Emergency Department. He in an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra. Dr. Silver has presented at the local and national level as well as published in the field of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Silver can also provide expert services in the area of Emergency Medical Services. He serves as the medical director for an EMS agency, credentialed field physician and as a voting member of the Regional Emergency Medicine Advisory Counsel (REMAC).

Dr. Silver is positioned to provide aspects of expert services including opinions on merit, negligence, departures, failure to diagnosis or delayed diagnosis, and causation. He provides medical chart review, deposition and expert affirmation review, deposition and trial testimony services as well as report/affirmation preparation.
