Dr. Galatzer-Levy is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Chicago. He is in active private practice of child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He was written six books and more than 130 articles and book chapters and is an experienced, award winning, teacher.
Dr. Galatzer-Levy’s wide professional experience has contributed to his work as an expert witness in criminal, personal injury, malpractice, police misconduct, and domestic relations cases. He has testified in cases in Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin and before the U.S. 7th Circuit. He has also testified before ethics and licensure committees in cases involving alleged sexual misconduct and professionals’ mental health.
