Dr. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the fields of General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Brown has conducted over 20,000 assessments for the commitment court over the past 20 years, and hundreds of IMEs in the area of psychiatry ranging from personal injury, to will contests, to guardianship and testamentary capacity, to ADA and fitness for duty evaluations, to PTSD claims. He has over 100 testimony experiences at either the deposition or court level. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where he also the Residency Training Director. He maintains an active private practice treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other trauma; offering a wide range of therapeutic modalities including psychopharmacology, hypnosis, EMDR, psychotherapy, and emotional freedom techniques.
