Larry E. Miller, Pacific Coast Motor Carrier Safety Institute

Larry Miller, Director of the PCMCSI, has thirty-four years experience driving commercial-heavy trucks; the last seventeen years driving chemical and flammable fuel trucks. He has run trucking yard operations hooking and unhooking trailers as well as inspecting trucks for mechanical defects. He has extensive freight dock experience driving fork-lifts and directing and supervising the loading of hazardous material. He is also knowledgeable in the mechanical realm of trucking ( i.e.: air-brakes, coupling devices, fifth-wheels, pintle-hooks, steering, suspensions, motors, power train components, forklift, cotton-hay, squeeze loading and unloading procedures). He has also loaded and driven low-bed ultra heavy haul equipment and construction material.
