Mr. Rosen has over thirty-five years of forensic expert witness experience in the Specialty Chemical and Allied industries. He is an Emeritus fire and explosion investigator with advanced training (E-CFEI), Meyer has served as Adjunct Professor of Fire Science and has extensive industrial product and process experience.
Meyer also serves as a forensic consulting and testifying expert witness. Expert fields covered include; technical product liability, personal injury matters related to fires, explosions, hazardous chemicals, chemical burns, toxic exposures, cosmetic product injuries, consumer & industrial products and processes. He also provides forensic expert guidance in trade secret, intellectual property and chemical/chemical engineering process related matters.
Mr. Rosen is also an internationally recognized expert in the technical marketing of specialty chemicals as well as their formulations and applications.
Meyer is Editor-in-Chief of Harry’s Cosmeticology, 9th Edition (2,600 pages) (https://www.chemical-publishing.com/harryscosmeticology_s/44.htm) acknowledged by the IFSCC as one of the three classic textbooks on cosmetic science.
He is also Emeritus Editor-in-Chief for EuroCosmetics Magazine; Editor of the 1,100 page Delivery System Handbook for Personal Care and Cosmetic Products; Editor for Elsevier’s Personal Care and Cosmetic Technology Series (7 books), and co-author of the Rheology Modifiers Handbook.
Mr. Rosen is Emeritus Chief Scientific Advisor and Director of Technical Programming for HBA Global Expo. Meyer is inventor of 22 U.S. patents, and has written over 40 peer review articles for technical publications. He has served as Vice President of the Association of Consulting Chemists and Chemical Engineers and as Director of the American Institute of Chemists. Mr. Rosen is also member of several international ASTM standards-making committees and serves as a referee for peer reviewed technical journals.
