Dr. Paul Uribe graduated from Claremont McKenna College and received a direct commission in the
United States Army to attend medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health
Sciences (USUHS). His post-graduate training consisted of residency in Anatomic and Clinical
Pathology at Walter Reed and National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and forensic pathology
fellowship training at the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System. His duty assignments included
Chief of Pathology in Fort Benning Georgia and as the Director of the Office of the Armed Forces
Medical Examiner, prior to retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2021. He currently works as the
Deputy Chief Medical Examiner at the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office, performs
locums forensic pathology services, and runs his own forensic consulting company. He is triple-board
certified in Anatomic, Clinical, and Forensic Pathology and has medical licenses in 9 states.
