Mr. Nichols has over 30 years’ experience addressing child sexual abuse and other injuries occurring within organizations. He is the retired National Vice President of Child Safety, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and since 2016 he has worked as an expert witness for plaintiff or defense in cases involving schools, churches camps, sports, buses, scouting, mentoring, recreation and other after school programs. He has authored, co-authored or contributed to over 40 publications on the protection of children; conducted physical safety assessments across the U.S. and overseas; made numerous conference presentations; and has been repeatedly quoted or cited in print, broadcast and digital media.
