Expert Witness Profile

Dr. Scott Anson has been practicing and teaching engineering for over 29 years. He combines his background in both Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering to perform investigations and failure analyses. His experience as a university professor allows him to bring technical clarity in teaching both counsel and trier of fact. This flows out of his combination of formal education, practical engineering, and extensive DIY vehicle and homestead repair skills.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas and Louisiana. He is also a “model law” engineer with NCEES, which allows him to expedite licensing in new states as needed.
