The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted two companies–DGS Holding and DGS Logistics–affiliated with Agility Co. for possible involvement in a plan to overcharge the U.S. government for food supplies.

Agility, a Kuwait-based food supplier formerly called Public Warehousing Co., previously had a multibillion dollar contract with the U.S. government to supply food to troops stationed in Kuwait and Iraq. In November the DOJ indicted Agility for allegedly overcharging the U.S. more than its agreement stated. Agility also stated that they were negotiating a settlement with the DOJ after the indictment.

Agility said in a statement today that they regret not being able to come to a settlement agreement earlier, and that two more of their companies, DGS Holding and DGS Logistics, are also being indicted.
