Former Four Seasons' lead singer and others are suing six former cast members of “Jersey Boys,” claiming copyright infringement. Valli, together with songwriter Robert Gaudio and “Jersey Boys” playwrights Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, say the former cast members stole songs and elements of the hit Broadway musical and took it on the road.

Defendents in the case include Christian Hoff, whose portrayal of Tommy DeVito in the original production of the show earned him a Tony award, and Michael Longoria, who played Valli. According to the suit, their show “The Boys in Concert” is no more than a rip off of “Jersey Boys.”
