Ever wonder what types of dirty dealings were going on in Turkmenistan in 2002? What about finding more information about the longest Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) sentence ever handed down earlier this year to Joel Esquenazi for bribing officials in Haiti?
Well, The Mintz Group has developed an interactive website to answer all of your burning FCPA-related questions, which may be more relevant than ever given how the government is now seriously cracking down on violators.
The international investigative services firm's new interactive map allows users to drill down and pinpoint the exact location of bribes that led to FCPA penalties worldwide. The map, which contains detailed information about the more than 200 FCPA-related cases in 80 countries since 1977, is color coded by the severity of fines assessed for violations in a given country. And when users roll over the country, a grid appears with info regarding each FCPA-related case to occur there, with the size of the box corresponding to the size of the penalty.
The map also allows users to search by one of eight different sectors.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
