Electronics giant Siemens Corp. appointed Rose Marie Glazer as general counsel, senior vice president and secretary of Siemens in the Americas. Glazer—the first woman to serve as GC for Siemens' U.S. operations—joined in company in 2004 as associate general counsel and chief compliance officer at Siemens PLM. She also has held in-house positions at Telvista Inc., Allied Riser Communications and American Airlines.
Marc Firestone resigned as general counsel of Kraft Foods Inc. to rejoin Philip Morris International (PMI) as its GC. Firestone previously served as PMI's senior vice president and general counsel before joining Kraft in 2003. While at Kraft, he oversaw the company's takeover of confectionary company Cadbury in 2010. He replaces outgoing PMI GC David Bernick, who left the tobacco giant to pursue outside opportunities.
