President Obama will nominate Stephen Preston as general counsel of the Department of Defense. Preston is currently the general counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which he joined in 2009, and previously served as general counsel of the Department of the Navy from 1998 to 2000. Before joining the CIA, he was co-chair of WilmerHale's defense and national security practice.

TeleTech Holdings Inc., a business process outsourcing company, named Margaret McLean senior vice president and general counsel. McLean previously was chief legal officer and general counsel of the engineering and construction company CH2M HILL. She has also worked in private practice as a partner at Bryan Cave Holme Roberts.


David Stryker is now the executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Huntsman Corp. He joins his new employer after nine years at BASF Corp., where he was senior vice president, general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer. His prior work experience also includes stints at Siemens Corp. and Kirkland & Ellis.
