Facebook announced that it has hired a former Gibson Dunn partner as deputy general counsel.

Facebook announced on Sept. 26 that it has hired a former Gibson Dunn partner as deputy general counsel.
Ashlie Beringer will replace the former deputy GC, Colin Stretch, who was promoted to Facebook's top legal role.
“We're thrilled to welcome Ashlie to Facebook,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement. “We have always been impressed with her toughness and commitment to innovation on behalf of her clients, and look forward to having her on our team.”
