Yes, Northwestern Law students, there is a Santa Claus. And his name is Neil Bluhm.

On Dec. 17, just a little more than a week before Christmas, the law school announced that it received a $15 million gift from the Chicago-based casino and real estate magnate and university trustee — the largest gift in school history.

The $15 million gift is part of a larger $25 million gift to the school, and it will be earmarked for the law school, where it will fund student financial aid programs legal clinics already named after Bluhm and other initiatives.
