Formerly a partner with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Patricia Moran joins Greenhill & Co. Inc. as chief legal officer and managing director. Moran has more than 30 years' experience with mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructurings, corporate governance and general corporate and securities law. In addition to her work for U.S. clients, she has advised clients in Australia, Canada, Europe and Japan.
She replaces Gavin Solotar, who is transitioning from his role as general counsel to managing director for the firm's Corporate Advisory business.
Scott L. Bok, chief executive officer of Greenhill, said in a statement, “We are pleased to bring in a lawyer of Pat's broad experience. Her transaction experience in both M&A and restructuring will help our bankers better serve their clients.”

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
