The mystery of the million pound man has been revealed. William Charnley, ex-Simmons & Simmons and more recently of US firm McDermott Will & Emery, has confessed.
When challenged by a Legal Week reporter who expressed a desire to meet a million pound partner, he immediately rose to the task.
"You're talking to one," he announced, adding that he knew several. Whether these were at Simmons & Simmons or McDermott Will was the million dollar question.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
