International intellectual property (IP) specialist Rouse & Co is replacing its entire front and back office IT infrastructure with an internally developed, internet-based, practice and document management system.
Technical staff at the firm – whose UK office is Docklands-based Willoughby & Partners – are building their own intranet system based upon the newly-released Internet Explorer 5 (IE5) as a 'document containing' front end.
The new all-encompassing intranet will eventually replace the firm's SOS back office accounts and billing software and its Mezzanine document management system, manufactured by FileNET in the US.
