The Legal Week reporters were all very happy with their new Berwin Leighton Paisner mugs – all except the one person who did not get one.
The mugs please childish minds by changing from black to white when filled with hot water and revealing the new firm name in aquamarine – the concept is bound to fill conference rooms with hoots of delight.
But even more fun can be had making anagrams with the firm's name along the lines of the re-branding, which uses the anagram theme to reflect the firm's 'solution-based culture focused on solving complex legal conundrums'.
The anagram on the mug is 'no respite inhaling brew'. The Diary has come up with some anagrams of its own – 'BL gone in with Paisner. Er!' As the word 'partner' comes up along with 'wine', 'sin' and 'wig' there are all sorts of wicked possibilities. How about 'Gob lie sin partner whine'?
