Shearmans expands New York practice

US firm Shearman & Sterling is expanding its property finance practice in New York by appointing a four-lawyer team from Los Angeles rival O'Melveny & Myers, including property partner Malcolm Kratzer. He is moving with three property associates. Kratzer's clients include Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and the Prudential Insurance Company of America.
