Mishcons hires Gouldens partner to launch tax practice

West End firm Mishcon de Reya has hired Gouldens head of tax Patrick Harrison to launch a new tax practise for the firm.
The departure of Harrison, who has been head of tax for the past seven years at Gouldens, is an extremely rare partner loss for the firm.
Harrison, who qualified in 1986, has also previously worked for Coopers & Lybrand as well as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Stephenson Harwood.
