Steptoes loses telecoms head

Steptoe & Johnson has lost its City head of telecoms in the latest of a spate of senior partner defections from the firm since its merger with Rakisons last year.
Danny Preiskel resigned from the firm at the end of last year and is currently working as a self employed telecoms consultant.
His departure is a further blow to the legacy City practice which merged with US firm Steptoe & Johnson in October 2000 in a bid to create a platform to launch a pan-European telecoms practice.
