Freshfields favours Germany for partners

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed more new partners in
Germany than in the UK in this year's partner round. It is believed to be the first time a UK firm has appointed more partners in a single foreign market than in its home base. The firm has made up 11 partners in its German offices, compared with nine partnerships offered in the UK.
