CMS Cameron McKenna has advised Enterprise Inns on a £875m acquisition of 1,860 pubs from Laurel Pub Holdings in the latest of a string of deals for the client.

It is the fourth major acquisition on which the firm has acted for Enterprise in less than a year, with the combined deal value of more than £3bn. Camerons has also just finished advising on the company's £2.01bn acquisition by a consortium of investors of the Unique and Voyager pub estates from Nomura International.

The latest deal is being financed by a combination of a new debt facility of £1.28bn, along with the net proceeds of £295m from a rights issue which has been underwritten by Deutsche Bank and HSBC.
