Norton Rose corporate partner Ian Fox has advised HSBC Investment Bank on its sponsorship of the full London listing of Property Fund Management. The company will use the £6m raised as seed capital in the raising of new industrial property funds and for the expansion of its European operations. Taylor Joynson Garrett (TJG) IP partner James Marshall has teamed up with Linklaters & Alliance corporate partner Steven Turnbull to advise medical device business Biocompatibles International on the £164.7m sale of its cardiovascular stent business to Abbott Laboratories.
TJG advised Biocompatibles on the IP aspects of the sale, while Linklaters provided corporate advice. Slaughter and May corporate partners Frances Murphy and Jeff Twentyman advised Abbott Laboratories.
