Boekels IP head quits to join new boutique

Boekel de Neree's IP head, Jacqueline Schaap, is to leave the top 10 Dutch firm to join a ground-breaking boutique set up by a group of senior Amsterdam lawyers.
The highly-rated Schaap will become one of four equity partners who will launch the new venture, headed by senior Allen & Overy IP partner Sven Klos.
Klos, a former partner with top Dutch firm Nauta Dutilh, confirmed his departure from the London-based firm earlier this month to set up the practice. In addition to Schaap, he will be joined by two salaried Nauta Dutilh partners, Chantal Morel and Gregor Vos.
