UK firms Addleshaw Booth & Co and Theodore Goddard officially merged on 1 May to create the top 20 national practice Addleshaw Goddard. The merger, which was officially backed in a partners' vote on 16 April, creates a 174-partner firm with a combined fee income of around $190m. The tie-up, which had been widely expected, is the largest merger between two UK practices for nearly three years.
