Jones Day launches San Fran branch

Jones Day has opened a branch in San Francisco to give the Cleveland-based giant its 13th office in the US.
The new practice, which will focus primarily on litigation, will be headed by Los Angeles-based partner Elwood Lui.
Paul Crist, a senior Jones Day litigation partner, will also move to San Francisco to oversee the litigation practice. He will be joined by employment litigators Bob Ford and Sue Stott, the head of Jones Day's healthcare practice Ross Stromberg and healthcare finance partner Louise Rankin.
