The Diary's search for silly names has unearthed an absolute stonker this week, thanks to a call from a British lawyer who says he has rubbed up against a US tax attorney called Randy Dick.

And yes, there really is a partner at West Coast firm Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro called Randall – or Randy for short – Dick.

The Diary notes, admiringly, that the "growing" firm combines "unsurpassed legal prowess with an entrepreneurial spirit that's focused on getting the job done". Oo-er!
