Serle Court chief executive Helena Miles is to leave the commercial and Chancery set at the end of the year to become head of business efficiency at Marks & Spencer. Miles joined the set in 1998 and was one of the first chief executives of a barristers' chambers. "Helen has not only provided invaluable support to all members of chambers, but more importantly, has enabled us to provide an even better service to clients," said head of chambers Lord Neill of Bladen QC.
