Scots firm Henderson Boyd Jackson has hired a non-lawyer and former client as its first chief executive. Accountant Stewart McIntyre, previously the head of Edinburgh-based financial advisers Intelli Corporate Finance, arrives after the firm chose to ditch the role of managing partner. Philip Dacker, the last managing partner, left in 2004 as part of a restructuring at the 23-partner firm.
