Herbert Smith Scoops BP European Counsel

Herbert Smith has hired former BP in-house lawyer Steve Weston as a senior consultant. Weston made the move after 28 years with the energy giant, the past three as European managing counsel. Weston – a qualified barrister – joined the top 10 City firm in December and will concentrate on upstream transactional work with the firm's global energy practice.
